Get Rid Of Pet Smells And That Stale Feeling With The Best Air Purifier

I make no secret among my friend and family about the fact that I don’t like odors. I’m not a fan of perfumes, and I certainly don’t like the smell of most chemicals or cleaning products. I’ll even leave a restaurant or hotel room if there’s the slightest hint of cigarette smoke. But I live with cats, and I have the very best air purifier in my home so I can do that.

In fact, I have several.

I’m not the best housekeeper in the world, but even when housekeeping is impeccable, that characteristic cat smell seems to come through. It’s a combination of stale cat litter, cat food and the natural body odor of a cat. There’s nothing you can do about it but keep things as clean as possible, keep your cats healthy and keep an air purifier going in each room.

I’ve been utterly amazed how much difference it’s made to upgrade from a tolerable old air purifier to the best air purifier I could find and afford.

Really, an air cleaner is a simple machine. It’s just a fan that pulls air past a filter. Sometimes, there’s an ozone setting that’s supposed to help a bit with odors, but I’ve found it doesn’t make much difference. What matters is getting a unit with a good filter and keeping it clean or replaced as required.

An air purifier is only as good as the filter inside it.

If you have any sort of recurring smells in your house — from cats, dogs, cigars, smelly athletic shoes — or whatever, you owe it to yourself to get some kind of air filtration devices. Ideally, you should have something in every room, especially the rooms where you spend most of your time. And if you have allergies, it’s especially important to clean the air in your bedroom. This will make a huge difference in your allergy symptoms.

Sometimes, life isn’t about saving money or learning the best tips, tricks and techniques. Sometimes it’s about clearing the air so that you can really enjoy what’s yours to enjoy.
